  1. Determined to stick to this plan

Posted by Pam Townsend on 9th Mar 2016

After learning about Sarah's I Quit Sugar Program it made so much sense. I researched further and read David Gillespie's 'Sweet Poisin' and listened to a u-tube clip by Prof Ludwig. I was hooked.

I expressed an interest in the 8 week program but found out the next one wasn't until June!

I could not wait that long and so that is why I purchased the e-book on the program.

I had begun cutting sugar already and so started straight away on my own. I am now on day 3 of week two and I will not lie it has been somewhat hard. Have not had bad headaches just dull but have mostly felt just a bit off and quite hungry for a few days. The last 2 nights I just could not get to sleep and when I did woke lots.

However today I am feeling better and hoping I might be through the worst fingers crossed. In any case I am determined and will not give up!

I have never taken sugar in my tea and coffee but one thing I have noticed is how sweet my cup of tea in particular now tastes!

My motive to quit sugar is to improve my health and if weight loss happens that will be a bonus.

Thank you for the opportunity to review my purchase.

  2. Interesting Read

I've been reading this book. Its easy to follow and I am looking forward to putting it into action.

  3. Perhaps include a meal plan

Posted by Unknown on 1st Mar 2015

I purchased the 8 week plan and a cook book because the next program does not start till June. I have just been diagnosed with Hashimotos and was keen to start earlier than june. I expected to see example meal plans not only guidelines. I understand that this may be due to seasonal factors. But I was disappointed on 2 fronts, why is the program not starting till June and why don't you include meal plans?

  4. Gets better and better

I've looked at IQS in the past and have gravitated back to it because it makes sense. I am loving the book and recipes and loving the daily emails.

  5. Sugar BeeGone.

Posted by Laura Anne on 2nd Oct 2014

I really think this book is fantastic, I had been on my own path in cutting out sugar, due to a thyroid and auto-immune problem- and this was the right Pal to the lone quest that one finds when trying to change common and social patterns. The tone and approach was honest, learned and experienced- written not from a height but from an achievable reach. I urge anyone who is contemplating the sugar cut or their own health to invest. My only problem was that it would only download to my Mac and not my trusty brought to set and there for when most tempted by sugar iPad. Although the internal guide that is woken up by the clearing of sugar is getting me throughout those moments quite nicely! Kindest LAM

  6. Very disappointing

Posted by Kirstin on 13th Aug 2014

From the immense difficulty to download on the ipad, to the poor content, I have to say I am very disappointed in this book set. You would think that you would be getting a detailed description on what to eat over the 8 weeks but you'd be wrong. This is just a general guide on what to avoid. If like me, you like clear instructions, then this is not the book for you. I thought that the recipes would include evening meals but sadly not. The main focus is on breakfast, which although is very helpful, we all know there are more meals to cater for in the day. Save your money and buy a different book as I'm sure the others will have more useable content. I came to iquitsugar.com when my health was at its worst and I desperately needed answers and guidance, if that's you too, don't buy this bundle, it's not what you're looking for.
