If you're looking for a way to cut costs, time and still be able to provide your loved one's nutritionally-dense and sugar-free meals...this is the cookbook for you.

What Sarah says:

"Honestly, cooking shouldn't be fancy and expensive. It should have maximum flavour and flow... Mum didn't cook fancy nor expensive food. It was all about economy - of flavour, time and dollars. She'd use budget cuts of meat, make everything in the one big old cast-iron pot, bulk things out with starchy veggies and ensure we had three serves of greens with every meal. These principles, in many ways, guide this book."

  1. Brilliant recipes!

Posted by Unknown on 9th May 2015

I have used this cookbook for all of our family meals this week & it is brilliant. My children aged 7, 5 & 2 have loved the meals and asked for seconds. I made the coconut jam slice for morning tea today & again another success. Thank you for taking the stress out if my menus.

  4. Sensible and sustainable

Its a bit like the lightbulb moment when you get stuck in the IQS. Having a good range of healthy meals to back it up with, helps keep you on track and focused. Getting your loved ones on board is easy when you serve them up tasty and healthy. I love this journey.

  5. This is the book I've been waiting for

Posted by Kaydee on 4th May 2015

Ive been waiting for a family meals IQS book and am so happy with this one! I'm cooking my way through it and enjoying seeing my toddler and anti-veggie husband devour it all. The cauliflower tater tots are a total winner, as is the toad-in-the-hole. This was so worth the tiny price, I love it!

  6. Healthy Family Meals

Posted by Pam on 1st May 2015

I only bought this book recently, but it is perfect for me. Very easy, no fuss meals, that are also delicious - at least the ones I have had a go at cooking. I am not what I would call a cook, so I appreciate the fact that I don't have to have a cupboard full of different ingredients.

  7. great recipes!

Posted by Unknown on 24th Apr 2015

I love the recipes in this book! I've already tried the meatloaf and the cauliflower tator tots and they were both fantastic! The only thing I wish is that it was in print form, though the cost for the pdf is nice. Keep those recipe books coming!!

  8. Time saver

Posted by Sandra on 24th Apr 2015

Found these recipes to be super easy and very quick. Of course they were delicious too. Have bought a few I Q S books, but so far this is my favourite, and my family will agree too, even though they haven' t cottoned on to eating I Q S recipes. L O L......

  9. Great little book

Posted by Greta on 24th Apr 2015

Lots of nice recipes that can be re-worked for meals later in the week. I haven't made anything yet that the family doesn't love!
Well done as always Sarah and the team!

  10. A Hit With Sugar Lover

Posted by Adrian Campbell on 24th Apr 2015

I currently live with my family and I am the only person in the house that has quit eating sugar, so i find it difficult to always appease the sugar eaters but still keep within my food goals.

I have recently tried a few recipes from the Healthy Family Meals Book: Lamb Nachos, Just Meatloaf, Lamb Shepherds Pie and Mexican Chicken with Sweet Potato Boats. I can honestly say that each recipe so far has gone down a treat and even better, the recipes are super budget friendly.

If you are contemplating buying this book DO IT.
There is an abundance of recipes to suit everyones tastes.
