I have read only the first week, and like the idea of "wheening off" the sugar, not a straight out break off like most diets. I have studied all foods in my cupboard and am so surprise what has sugar, crackers, milk etc.
Can't wait to get through the full programme, but with Xmas round the corner I will be doing it slower than most people. I have started cutting out sugar when not necessary.

This book is beautifully written, so relatable. The recipes are simple and easy, yet delicious.
Highly recommend to anyone wishing to learn more about healthy eating!

I love this book. I previously began my quitting sugar journey from my first purchase, I quit sugar for life. I now feel that I have a much better understanding of the effects of sugar on the body, and now also the good effect of fats and proteins.
I have gained valuable knowledge from Sarah's saving time and money hints in my cooking. I now love my slow cooker, and cooking in general.
This is my second copy of this book, which I ordered for a friend who is really struggling with sugar addiction. I felt the book will give her step-by-step guidelines in quitting sugar. I also purchased the slow cooker recipe book.

I am really, really impressed with this book. Not just the great sugar-free recipes, but the sheer volume of valuable scientific information about sugar and more. A very intelligently written and well-researched book, and I could not recommend it more highly. I was a chronic sugar addict, and I thought it would be impossible to make positive changes in this area of my life, but Sarah Wilson introduces the concept quitting sugar in such a gentle and simple way that I easily adapted to the 8-week detox program and am feeling SOOOO much better as a result! Thank you so much Sarah, this book has improved my life more than I could ever have hoped for.

Wonderful books and website! i have been trying on my own to quit sugar for over 12months...some success but keep falling off the wagon...finally have the family on board and have bought a few IQS cookbooks....this has been amazing. great food, easy to make, totally yummy....havent had sugar for 3 weeks now, detox wasnt bad as i have slowly gotten better over the year. my kids are now sugar free as well. i have lost 3kgs already, and thats without any extra movement, i actually spent 1 week laying on couch due to serious sprained ankle, that i'm almost recovered from. so to Sarah and all at IQS i thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! you have changed my life. i know its still a long road ahead, but i dont even crave sweet stuff anymore so i know i will be ok.

Very informative, but still keeping it real. I am still learning some of the ingredients and their uses, but life is all about learning.

I'm only up to page 36 (of 212) but I am LOVING this book. I particularly enjoy the light-hearted, encouraging style. Sarah avoids any hint of bossiness or condescending language...yet she's telling us to give up a much-loved addiction...I want to dislike her but I just can't! Great book, beautiful recipes, well-researched. Thanks to Sarah and all involved.

I am doing the 8 week program, I Quit Sugar and found this to be a valuable reference to refer back to. This easy to understand guide is a must have to keep the program fresh and readily at your fingertips. Recipes are so tasty you never even miss sugar.

The best book to read to set you up to IQS. A huge thankyou, I never thought I could make my own mayo and tomato sauce, my family love them!!!!
