Sarah Wilson taught the world how to quit sugar in 8 weeks, then how to quit sugar for life, incorporating mindful, sustainable practices across all the pillars of real, whole wellness. Now she strips things back to the essentials, simply and deliciously. She shows us how to shop, cook and eat like we used to in the days before sugar-laced processed food hit our shelves - with ease and without waste, while honouring that deep sense of pleasure that comes from nourishing ourselves and each other.
Sarah gives us the ‘simplicious flow’, a modern manifesto that sets out how to buy in bulk, freeze and preserve, and use leftovers with flair. She unashamedly makes scraps sexy again and elevates leftovers to the main attraction. All 306 recipes - from guilt-free sweet treats to one-pot wonders and abundance bowls brimming with nutrients - expand our knowledge of age-old kitchen processes and tend to our visceral need to be creative with food.
Drawing on the latest nutrition research and kitchen hacks, this is the ultimate cooking guide for those who want sugar out of their lives and are ready to embrace the life-affirming, health-giving, planet-saving simpliciousness of real food.
In other words, JUST EAT REAL FOOD #SWJERF
“When you quit sugar you quit processed food. When you quit processed food you’re left with real whole food only, which you have to cook, right? Right? And here’s the thing: when you cook real food you save money and time, you preserve the planet, plus your health improves with exponential flourish! This is Simplicious.”
"Sarah Wilson's SIMPLICIOUS is a must for every aspiring cook, and even the most learned home cooks. It has all of the tips and tricks you need to help re-master the basic art of food preparation. One of the key elements about this book is the emphasis on mindful eating and enjoying real, wholesome food for pleasure, rather than perceiving it with stress or fear and it embodies Sarah's principles of "JERF" (Just Eat Real Food)." - Lee Holmes

Having completed the last 8 week program I am already on the healthy recipe trail. This book is a great resource of recipes for any occasion. In time I will be making Kombucha, Tumeric paste and everything in the book. I am recommending this to my friends to buy for Christmas presents.

An amazing price for such a big book. Beautifully designed. Sarah is very inspirational. Love Sarah's hand written notes all over the book, makes it more personal and real. I have done IQS online 8 Week Programme and this is the perfect book to follow it. It reinforces what I learnt in case I forgot things (and I did).
Oh! And the recipes look yum. Can't wait to try them. Read the book all the way on the train to home last night...
PS: Sarah your editor was right I think the cover image was the right choice :) love the other one too, but the more casual one of your is real and worthy of the cover.

A fabulous, informative, generous book into how I can be more sustainable, healthier and hopefully prevent lifestyle diseases which unfortunately are now ever increasing. Well done and thank you Sarah and the IQS team.

the book was delivered at home while I was away for 3 weeks, but then I found a copy in Target in Bendigo and couldn't resist. But as usual I have already gifted it to a friend who I stayed with. It is such a perfect gift. They think they are getting a cool cookbook, but they are getting a 'message' that I just couldn't verbalise and now it is up to them to make the change they needed to make.
layout is so refreshing - like the IQS book...
appeals to both the young new cooks and the boomers.. should be a text book... photos of every dish would be good.
