What Sarah says:

"I quit sugar... and fell in love with my slow cooker. Seriously, slow cooking is my answer to eating well. I'm all about dense nutrition. A slow-cooker extracts the best of my food without destroying the enzymes. It also extracts maximum flavour - particularly good when trying to convert friends or family to a more nutrient-dense way of eating."

What others say:

"The Lemon and Cinnamon Lamb Shank recipe is a delicious, nutrient-dense pot of yumminess and flavour." - Lee Holmes

"Oh, my gosh! Sarah's mum's Hungarian Goulash - one word - AMAZING!!" - Emma

"Made the Roo Rogan Josh tonight and it was awesome! Tick of approval from hubby and kids so thank you!" - Annette

  1. Slow Cookers Are The Best!

Posted by Rosie Clark on 29th Jun 2016

I love my slow cooker, its so easy, but often I get stuck for great-tasting ideas - not anymore!! Living in Darwin you don't get a lot of slow cooked meals and soups, but just turn the aircon on and this book is your best friend! So much variety, and love the use of different cuts of meat like brisket. Keep an eye on Instagram, lots of yummy photos coming!!

  2. Delicious looking recipes

Posted by Sara on 7th Jun 2016

I recently received my slow cooker book, after a read through I was very excited to try lots of the recipes.
So far I have made the sweet pumpkin Sunday beans and the beginners beef stock, which I made as a bone broth . Both are delicious.
I served the beans with some pan fried left over Brussel sprouts and a fried egg, so nice for a cold morning breakfast and so filling.
I know I will get a lot of use out of this book.

  3. Loving it!

Posted by Kylie on 5th Apr 2016

Have had the book only a few days but I've tried out a couple of recipes already and my family are loving my efforts. Going to be a good winter with these recipes. Slow cooker is going to get a work out!

  5. Just in time for summer!?

Posted by Carla on 12th Oct 2015

coming home after a 3 week road trip, and to an empty fridge, and to my IQS book delivery. I sat down and wrote my shopping list from flipping through the book. then headed to the farmers market..
so much easier and more pleasant than the e-book.

Gorgeous Book.... What to try first !!!

  7. A bit disappointed

Posted by Colleen on 12th Aug 2015

Admittedly I was nervous about buying this book without seeing a contents page (which I did suggest to the IQS Team that they could provide where they currently have 'see sample) but I went ahead and bought it anyway. My interest is in main meals and to be honest having just finished the 8 week program there are not that many new recipes that aren't already available on the website or through the program. I have tried a few IQS desserts now and would rather go without so won't use those recipes and breakfasts in our house don't really accommodate slow cooking with two young children. I recommend asking to see the contents page before purchasing. I did ask if I could exchange it for the one pot book but didn't receive a reply. On the upside, also bought the kids book and we have used it 3 times in 2 days with great success but I'd better post that elsewhere!

  8. Best Cookbook Every

Posted by Leigh Taylor on 28th Jul 2015

Firstly there are no seafood recipes in this book which is perfect for me as I don't like seafood. I have never looked at a cookbook and got so excited about so many of the recipes and how easy they all look.

  9. Awesome book

Posted by Jess on 22nd Jul 2015

Awesome book I absolutely love it. Full of amazing recipes I cant wait to try. Thanks so much Sarah as usual your books are amazing!

  10. nice one

Posted by Cc on 21st Jul 2015

It is a nice practical book but I would have preferred if there were more pictures included, maybe small ones attached to every recipe to make the meals more appealing. Overall, is a good book to have.
